Ethnicity Pay Gap Debate hosted at Coutts Bank

  • Coutts Bank 440 Strand London, England, WC2N 5LR United Kingdom (map)

Join us at Coutts Bank as we debate the motion "This House Believes That the Ethnicity Pay Gap cannot be closed within the next decade". This event will take place on 22nd January 2020, starting at 17:00.

Over the past two decades ethnic minority groups have made substantial gains in relation to education and employment. The share of ethnic minority men and women with degrees has overtaken that of white men and women. Employment levels, for professionals from ethnic minority backgrounds, have also increased. However, differences in average remuneration between ethnic minority professionals and their white counterparts amounts to £3.2 billion (according to the Resolution Foundation).

YDWC and the Royal Bank of Scotland Multi-Cultural Network have teamed up to deliver this very important debate. If you are a YDWC member, you can claim your priority ticket by signing up on this link. Non-members can also sign up on this link, you will be added to our waiting list and alerted when spaces become available.
